Sanné Lambert is known throughout Vancouver and internationally as a fashion designer and owner of  Venus & Mars. An established success in this field, (c)2002, is her first CD as a recording artist.

Born in Richmond, BC, Sanné became accomplished on both piano and guitar. As she built her business, designing stunning lines of medieval and renaissance-inspired gowns and dresses, she also continued to write songs both powerful and personal.

Sanné's style of rock is tough and strong, with strong influences of the late-70's New York scene that spawned Patti Smith and Television, as well as early-90s artists PJ Harvey and Mecca Normal. The songs on (c)2002 are intense without descending into whiny self-absorption.

The CD was recorded with Walter Brady (bass, The Walkerband) and Alex Koch (drums, The Walkerband), and features guest appearances by Evan Symons (lead guitar).

Sanné performs live as Sanné Lambert Trio with Walter Brady and Loren Etkin (drums)
