Sanné
Lambert is known throughout Vancouver and internationally as a fashion
designer and owner of Venus
& Mars. An established success in this field, (c)2002, is
her first CD as a recording artist.
Born in Richmond, BC, Sanné became accomplished on both piano
and guitar. As she built her business, designing stunning lines of medieval
and renaissance-inspired gowns and dresses, she also continued to write
songs both powerful and personal.

Sanné's
style of rock is tough and strong, with strong influences of the late-70's
New York scene that spawned Patti Smith and Television, as well as early-90s
artists PJ Harvey and Mecca Normal. The songs on (c)2002 are intense
without descending into whiny self-absorption.
The CD was recorded with Walter Brady (bass, The Walkerband)
and Alex Koch (drums, The Walkerband), and features guest appearances
by Evan Symons (lead guitar).
